Overview
Bring friends and family for a special holiday-themed maker opportunity full of great cheer—and ugly sweaters! Sip a holiday mocktail or enjoy spiced cider and snack on appetizers alongside family and friends as you transform your favorite worst shirt, vest or sweater from mildly gaudy to downright glaring in our History Maker Space. Test your holiday knowledge, capture and cherish the moment with a photo from our pop-up Evergleam Dreams: A Vintage Holiday Display—and while you’re at it, get a leg up on your holiday shopping by browsing our History Maker Space gift shop for timeless goods, games, keepsakes and mementos.

About the Location
An active, community-focused space that hosts school groups, pop-up exhibits, author talks, public programs and more; located in the US Bank Building on Madison's Capitol Square.

Know Before You Go & Accessibility
- Sip & Craft is an adults-only (18+) event offering non-alcoholic beverages and appetizers. Please note that the event does not include a full meal, and attendees should plan their evening accordingly.
- Attendees will need to bring a clothing item to personalize. The Historical Society will provide all other supplies for decoration.
- When arriving for the program at 5:30 pm, access to the building, and therefore the History Maker Space, is available through South Pinckney Street, East Washington Avenue, or South Webster Street building entrances.
- Upon entry to the building, participants are to check in with a WHS staff member to confirm their registration.
- The event will take place in the History Maker Space Classroom, located off the central 1st floor lobby area.
- Visitor parking is not available onsite at the U. S. Bank Plaza building.
- Public parking is available within two blocks of the U.S. Bank Plaza building through meters and garages. The nearest parking garage is the Capitol Square North Garage, located at 218 E. Mifflin Street, and approximately two blocks north of the bank building.
